Shower Wastewater Pumps
Shower Wastewater Pumps
Shower wastewater pumps provide a practical drainage solution where a traditional gravity waste connection is not possible. They automatically collect and pump wastewater from the shower to a suitable drainage point, making them ideal for installations where the waste outlet is above the shower or too far away for gravity drainage.
Typical applications include:
- Basement bathrooms
- Internal rooms without direct drainage access
- Wet rooms
- Home extensions
- Loft conversions
- Commercial and accessible bathroom installations
When water enters the pump, it is detected automatically and the system activates, safely discharging the wastewater before switching off again.
Things to consider
When selecting a shower wastewater pump, consider:
- Maximum flow rate
- Maximum pumping distance and height
- Noise level
- Available installation space
- Ease of servicing and maintenance
Frequently Asked Questions

Are shower wastewater pumps noisy?
Modern systems are designed to operate quietly, although noise levels vary between models and installation methods.
How far can a shower wastewater pump discharge water?
